Time-trials

“I don’t think I knew what physical pleasure was until I rode a time trial” – Rich Cooper, 2009

Several club members compete in time trials, from local, low-key club events to national championships and even continental events. Recent highlights include:

• Peter Dixon has had a breakthrough season in 2010, setting a series of personal bests and winning and placing well in events.
• Gill Reynolds continues to pick up fastest woman prizes and won her age group at the National 50 mile TT Championships this year.
• Super-vet and multiple club record-breaker Peter Cookson has once again gone under the hour for 25 miles this year and continues to place highly.
• Fast man Meurig James rewrote most of the club record book in 2009. He is now living and working in the USA.

Road Racing
